The Future of Mineral Discovery

Polyspectral has assembled a team of top AI engineers from institutions in India that worked in tandem with a renowned team of geoscientists to create a wide spectrum AI-powered, detection system designed to rapidly process, detect, prioritize and intelligently categorize ASTER spectral reflectance anomalies from collected data sets.

The Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflections Radiometer (ASTER) on the Terran satellite is used to create detailed maps of global land surfaces, temperature, emissivity, reflectance and elevation.

The collected data, presents an enormous library of information can be applied to a wide array of applications from monitoring vegetation and ecosystem dynamics, hazard monitoring, hydrology, Land use changes as well as the search for mineral resources.

AI Driven Strategic Resource Discovery

The proprietary Remote Mineral Intelligence (RMI) AI engine is capable of continuously updating and verifying its knowledge of key data signal clusters that correlate to known important elemental and alteration assemblages which then assist to provide the location of new high quality mineral targets.

The process can save millions in exploration dollars and rapidly find targets worldwide potentially worth billions.

The U.S. has published a list of 50 minerals considered highly critical to the economy as well as the planned energy transition from fossil fuel sources.

The RMI platform can rapidly adapt to search for critical minerals, precious metals and rare earths.

Processed spectral reflectance data has been proven to be remarkably effective at identifying and highlighting mineral and alteration assemblages important in the search for mineral deposits.

However, the processing of the raw data involves many tedious steps that include calibration to ground-level reflectance, atmospheric weather corrections and digital elevation corrections.

By employing AI to accelerate and enhance the analysis of ASTER satellite data, we integrate the multitude of processing steps for much more efficient identification of prospective mineralized zones.

TeSt Site 1

The Manaono Lithium project In the DRC is the top Lithium in Pegmatite deposits in the world. It is estimated to be larger than the Greenbushes deposit in Western Australia which is currently producing over 3 Billion dollars of revenue per Quarter.

Here we have a example of how our recent RMI search parameters highlight both Lithium in pegmatite (blue) potential as well as Lithium in clay (pink) potential.

The Blue pegmatite zone north of the Kitololo pegmatites remains unexplored.

At left is a massive anomaly identified by the RMI platform that is typically associated with areas with Lithium-in-Clay mineralization.

The McDermitt resource boundary are showing in pink for Inferred and the Indicated Resources in light yellow which collectively sum to a massive 21.5 Million tons LCE.

RMI anomaly was independently checked and confirmed by a large array of ground soil sampling and mineral analytical analysis.

Lithium mineral analytical results show a clear spatial and abundance distribution with the most intense of the defined RMI anomalies, mostly found at the center and east of this large basin.
